Projects related to ANSI INCITS 358 (Ver 1.1):

INCITS 429 – Conformance Test Methodology for ANSI INCITS 358-2002, BioAPI Specification.  This standard specifies the methodology and test assertions for testing conformance of Biometric Service Providers (BSPs) to the BioAPI Specification.  This draft standard has recently completed public review.

Amendment 1 to INCITS 358 – Fusion:  An amendment is in progress to extend the BioAPI Specification  to support multi-biometric fusion.  This standard was approved in August 2007.

Projects related to ISO/IEC 19784-1 (Ver 2.0):

INCITS 434 – Tenprint Capture Using BioAPI.  This standard defines how BioAPI 2.0 is used to perform tenprint fingerprint capture in a standard, interoperable way and in conformance to ANSI/NIST ITL1-2000. This standard was approved in December 2007.

Java Version of BioAPI 2.0.  This project defines a native java version of the BioAPI 2.0 specification.  The working draft is in progress.
